Full depth reclamation and paving will commence in 2014 on Pleasant Street between East Ohio Avenue and East Kicklighter Road.  The project should be completed in Spring 2014.

 The new bathroom at Melissa Park is under construction and will be completed in Summer 2013

May 25: Lake Helen Cleanup Day.  Pancake Breakfast being servied at City Hall beginning at 8am.  Churches, clubs, civic groups, families - there's a job for everybody.  Now is the time to get rid of your old debris including old tires and appliances from your house and all around town.

May 27: Memorial Day Celebration at City Hall.  30 minute flag raising ceremony and invocation.  9am.

June 11: Budget Workshop in the Commissioner Chambers.  9:30am.

June 13: City Commission meeting.  7pm.

June 22:  125th Anniversary event - Class Reunion and Picnic. The 125th Anniversay Committee is still looking for peopl who attended Minerva Long school to attend the reunion.  Blake Park.  4pm-7pm.;                            Announcements
